Industrial Effluents

Final solution for the issue of effluents

One of the major issues of the industries is the large volume of waste generated, potentially generators of environmental pollution and bad smell.

Complex installations and high cost products used to mitigate the issue impact the final cost of the products and reduce companies’ profitability margin, consuming the portion that could be assigned for new investments.

Enzilimp cover the deficiencies of the traditional methods, finally solving the issues of organic waste and, in some instances, enabling reuse as fertilizer. Maximized optimization of cost/benefit relation.

Excelling environmental requirements

Enzilimp is a product from modern biotechnology, which uses beneficial microorganisms naturally occurring, selected and cultivated in laboratory without genetic changes.

Those microorganisms, in exponentially enhanced quantities, eliminate pathogenic bacteria and produce enzymes capable of breaking out and digesting complex molecules of organic matter, returning them back to the nature, by the end of the process, in the form of water, energy and harmless mineral, excelling physical and chemical parameters required by the environmental agencies.

Maximization of systems capacity

A completely natural product, stable, non-toxic, non-pathogenic, harmless to human and animal health and good for the environment, Enzilimp offers full use safety, not requiring equipment nor special protection for handling.

With cost lower than using chemical products and less complex handling avoiding, for instance, the need of manual extractions, treatment with Enzilimp allows relevant savings in the production budget, improving industries’ competitiveness, besides offering a final solution for the organic effluents, enhancing systems and allowing treatment of a higher volume of effluents.

Enzilimp action for the treatment of effluents in stabilization ponds systems

Effects of Enzilimp use are progressive, taking more or less time until reaching its maximum efficiency, depending on the installations’ conditions.

As a rule of thumb, one week after the first application, a sensible increase of bubbles in the pond water will already be noticed, a result of carbonic gas release by the microorganisms. After the 3rd week, with the increase of microbial activity, DBO and DQO levels fall down, as well as harmful bacteria counting and the bad smell starts become softer. Also, ponds water, intensively dim and dark before, starts to turn into light brown and reduce dimness.

Enzilimp use, at the proper doses and frequency, assures:

* Significant reduction or extinction of bad smell in the ponds.
* Reduction of sludge and supernatants volume.
* Restoring of the flow in the draining and filtration areas.
* Substantial reduction of pathogenic bacteria.
* Best flow of effluents, avoiding or reducing the need of mechanical extractions.
* Improves DBO levels and other indexes from the final effluent.
* Non-contamination of soil and water bodies.
* Noticeable reduction of maintenance costs and enlargements.

Enzilimp is applied into anaerobic reactors and activated sludge treatment systems

Application of Enzilimp in effluents treatment stations through anaerobic systems, like the so called anaerobic reactors or digesters is already a proven experience in effluents from food industry and also sanitary effluents, with the purpose of increasing their efficiency in terms of organic load reduction. Its application in aerated systems, such as activated sludge reactors or tanks has the purpose of increasing efficiency of organic matter removal by accomplishing best flocculation of the biologic sludge, providing benefits in depuration of the organic load, reduction of odors and consequently significant improvement of sludge sedimentation into the secondary decanters. Satisfactory experiences in stars or biologic sludge recovery, both in anaerobic and aerobic systems, are already a reality in industrial effluents of meat processing plants, industrial laundries and also sanitary effluents.
